I am pleased and honors to welcome and wish you all success. I would like to assure you of the keenness and interest of the education and student affairs sector and departments in the college to provide everything that would achieve excellence for the college graduates.
Where the Education and Student Affairs Sector is the backbone of the college, as it is responsible for managing the educational process, serving and caring for students since they enter the college, providing the appropriate educational environment for them and continuous communication by providing advice and guidance and overcoming all obstacles that may face students until they graduate from it.
This responsibility is achieved through several departments within the Education and Student Affairs Sector, including: Student Affairs Department, Youth Welfare Department, and Graduates Affairs Department. As well as paying attention to student activities in various sports, artistic, cultural, social and roving fields, and providing the necessary capabilities and resources to practice those activities, so that students can express their diverse talents beside academic study.
Since its establishment, the college of Aquatic and Fisheries Sciences has been striving to achieve the goals of distinguished university education, modernization and continuous development of educational programs, courses and their academic and knowledge contents in the various disciplines associated with the college to keep pace with global development and conform to international quality standards so that communication with civil society can be achieved and the preparation of graduates with distinguished scientific levels, able to compete in the local and international labor markets.
In this context, the country has established many giant projects that serve the fisheries sector and the protection of lakes, for example, the Ghalioun fish farming projects, the Suez Canal farms, and others, which helped provide many job opportunities for college graduates.
From this point of view, I am pleased to invite all of you, my student's sons and daughters to be committed and do everything in your power to acquire science and knowledge. I also invite you to take an active interest in participating in student activities, demonstrating the spirit of cooperation and competition, and enjoying life under the umbrella of university traditions.
