The department is committed to prepare a high level dentist capable of offering world-standard dental services with regards to diagnosis and variant treatment modalities. Therefore, the department conducts an academic and a practical course that covers variant areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery includes local anaesthesia, dental extraction, and cysts of the oral region. That is in addition to the preprosthetic surgery, infections of the oral regions, and multiple maxillo-facial traumas. Moreover, the course enables the candidate to deal with the temperomandibular joint diseases and the tumours of the oral region in regards with the diagnosis and referral.
