Department Mission 

The preparation of  graduates with knowledge of specialized scientific knowledge in the field of information systems, while keeping up with the department's programs of modern changes. The department also works on using the available resources to solve the problems of society.         
This is done through the provision of distinct curricula in different branches of information systems and their scientific and applied research subject to international standards, quality and positive interaction of the role of the department in the service of the environment and community development.

   The Information Systems Department seeks to provide the necessary elements for the continuous development of education in the field of information systems in order to keep abreast of the rapid scientific and technological developments, improve the university performance, improve the graduates of the department to the level of excellence and high competitiveness.
