The Islamic Languages Program aspires to be a distinguished academic beacon in the fields of Islamic languages and literature, both locally and internationally.

Mission

The Islamic Languages Program at the Faculty of Arts, Kafr El-Sheikh University, is committed to preparing qualified graduates in the fields of Islamic languages and literature in alignment with National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) The program equips students to compete effectively in the labor market, conduct scientific research, and contribute to community service and environmental development within an ethical and value-driven framework.

The Hebrew Language Program aspires to be a distinguished academic beacon in the fields of Hebrew language and literature, both locally and internationally.

Mission

The Hebrew Language Program at the Faculty of Arts, Kafr El-Sheikh University, is committed to preparing qualified graduates in the fields of Hebrew language and literature in alignment with National Academic Reference Standards (NARS). The program equips students to compete effectively in the labor market, conduct scientific research, and contribute to community service and environmental development within an ethical and value-driven framework.

Objectives

1. Program of Islamic Languages and Literatures

The graduate should have the ability to:

• Achieve high proficiency in writing, reading, and translating the target languages.

• Translate accurately between Persian and Arabic (in both languages) to enrich the Arabic library with intellectual and cultural works that benefit society.

• Master the fundamentals and methodologies of academic research while upholding scientific integrity.

• Produce qualified graduates capable of understanding the culture of native speakers, transmitting their literary heritage across various domains, and preserving Arabic identity and national cultural heritage.

• Equip graduates with the necessary knowledge to understand Persian- and Turkish-speaking societies in all their diversity.

• Utilize appropriate technology to enhance translation expertise and effective communication in Persian and Turkish.

• Develop the linguistic skills required to conduct academic research and studies in the target languages.

• Inculcate professional ethics and academic integrity, both in translation practice and in broader language applications.

• Synthesize interdisciplinary knowledge to foster advanced critical analysis and rigorous logical reasoning in graduates.
